Abstract

"Die vorliegende sechste Auflage der 'Kritischen Diskursanalyse' stellt als vollständige Überarbeitung einen erheblichen Fortschritt zu früheren Auflagen dar. Die Aufnahme des Dispositivkonzepts ermöglicht eine theoretische Straffung des sich jetzt auf Diskurs- und Dispositivanalyse beziehenden Ansatzes. Der jeher besonders prominente Methodenteil wurde der theoretischen Weiterentwicklung entsprechend angepasst, verschlankt und anwendungsorientiert umgestellt sowie um Vorschläge zur Durchführung praktischer Dispositivanalysen erweitert. Das Buch ist sowohl ein geeigneter Einstieg in die diskurstheoretischen Arbeiten Michel FOUCAULTs als auch eine pragmatische Gebrauchsanweisung für die Durchführung von Diskursanalysen. Die spezifische Perspektive kritischer Diskursanalyse trägt dabei zum wissenschaftstheoretischen Diskurs über Werturteile, Normativität und Reflexivität in der Forschung bei. "This 6th and fully revised edition of 'Critical Discourse Analysis' is now available, representing a considerable advance over its previous editions. The incorporation of FOUCAULT's concept of "dispositif" has facilitated theoretical streamlining as well as widened the approach to discourse and dispositif analysis. The methodology section (always quite prominent) has been adapted accordingly to take these theoretical developments into account.
