"This publication is based on a workshop, initiated by BIBB and a network of training-institutions. The creation and evaluation of task oriented, net- and community-based infrastructures for learning, as exemplified by the electro-technical sector, which linked formal and informal e-learning is subject of a BIBB-project. This publication presents concepts and experience as to virtual infrastructures for learning, which were made in the framework of the project and by others. Conditions according to the necessary context are described by experts. Mostly there are culture-, organisation- and workplaceoriented barriers, which have to be overcome to create these virtual infrastructures. Technical demands seems not longer so important."
