Ein Sozialstaat, der "Sinn macht"? Begründung der Leitidee eines nachhaltigen aktivierenden Sozialstaates

Abstract

Ausgehend von der Diagnose einer doppelten Krise des Wohlfahrtstaats einerseits und der aufgeklärten liberalen Moral andererseits plädiert die Verfasserin für ein neues Leitbild des Wohlfahrtsstaats, das ökonomische und philosophische Argumente integriert. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei ein Perspektivenwechsel von Gerechtigkeit zu gutem Leben, der das Leitbild eines aktivierenden nachhaltigen Wohlfahrtsstaats eröffnet. (ICEÜbers)

"Starting with the double diagnosis of the crisis of the welfare state on the one hand and of the enlightened liberal moral on the other hand, this paper argues for a new guiding idea to resolve the crisis of the welfare state - using economical and philosophical arguments in a crosswise way. The main issue of our analysis is the change from the perspective of justice to a perspective of the good life, which will give reasons for the guiding idea of an activating sustainable welfare state."
