Von "A" wie Ankündigung über "T" wie Trauma bis "Z" wie Zugzwänge: Biographieforschung zwischen erzählungstheoretischen und (sozial)psychologischen Analysen ; eine Hinführung

Abstract

"Thema dieses Beitrages ist die Biographieanalyse, wie sie maßgeblich von Fritz Schütze und Gerhard Riemann entwickelt worden ist. Die mit dem Auswertungsziel der strukturellen Beschreibung verbundenen Arbeitsschritte - die Rekonstruktion der autobiographischen Thematisierung, das Segmentieren sowie die Beschäftigung mit Hintergrundkonstruktionen - werden vor der Folie erzähltheoretischer Annahmen und des idealtypischen Strukturaufbaus autobiographischer (Stegreif-)Erzählungen erörtert. Interviewauszüge dienen der Illustration und sollen eine Einführung in diese spezifische Variante der Biographieforschung erleichtern. Diejenigen hermeneutischen Verfahren, die den Übergang der Analyse von Erzählstrukturen zu einer (sozial)psychologischen Interpretation erlauben (Wissensanalyse, Prozessstrukturen der Erfahrungsaufschichtung), werden eigens erörtert. Am Beispiel des Sprachphänomens Hintergrundkonstruktion werden die Anschlüsse an psychologische Diskurse exemplarisch entfaltet." (Autorenreferat)

"The topic of this article is biography analysis as was significantly developed by Fritz Schütze and Gerhard Riemann. The work stages connected with the target of the evaluation of the structural description - the reconstruction of the autobiographic thematisation, the segmenting and the preoccupation with background constructions - are explained against the foil of narratological assumptions and of the typically ideal structure of autobiographic (impromptu) narratives. Extracts from Interviews serve as illustration and should ease an introduction into this specific variation of biography research. Those hermeneutic processes, which allow the transition of the analysis of narrative structures to a (social) psychological interpretation (knowledge analysis, process structures of experience strata), will be explained individually. Demonstrated an the example of the language phenomenon background construction, the links to psychological discourses are unfurled in an exemplary manner." (author's abstract)
