"Among young men, the attitudes towards fatherhood seem to change slowly but steadily. The few studies already existing in fathers' studies indicate that an increasing number of men verbally oppose traditional sex roles. However, this is not (yet) reflected to that degree on the level of actual behaviour: In fact, there are only very few fathers who take paternal leave or work part-time. Based on qualitative research, this contribution describes families with an equal distribution of paid work and family work." (author's abstract)... view less
