"Ab dem Mikrozensus 2008 werden im Scientific-Use-File Informationen zum Migrationshintergrund
bereitgestellt.
(Autorenreferat)... view less

"The Scientific Use File of the Microcensus 2008 is the first to provide information on immigrant
background. However, a series of new questions providing information on the topic 'Migration and
Integration' in Germany had already been incorporated into the Microcensus upon the amendment of
the Microcensus Law 2005. Since these years are also of high interest for researchers, tools have been
developed that are capable of classifying the immigrant background reported by the German Federal
Statistical Office for the years 2005 to 2009. This report describes how this classification is implemented
by using SAS, SPSS and Stata programs." (author's abstract)... view less
