In dieser festgefahrenen Lage kann dreierlei hilfreich sein: die Tiefenstruktur der argumentativen Auseinandersetzung zu beleuchten, problematische argumentative Strategien und einen fragwürdigen Umgang mit empirischen Hinweisen zu benennen und den gleichermaßen von starren Prinzipien wie spekulativen Prognosen geprägten Streit um mehr direkte Demokratie durch eine experimentelle, aber zeitlich zunächst begrenzte Praxis zu entschärfen."
