Tecnologias e letramento digital: navegando rumo aos desafios

Abstract

Computadores, celulares, redes sociais, ferramentas de pesquisa e interação on-line são recursos utilizados pelos alunos no mundo dinâmico da cibercultura. As tecnologias da informação e comunicação estão exigindo leitores e produtores de textos ainda mais participativos. Aos textos impressos, somam-se os hipertextos e os suportes eletrônicos, que demandam diferentes estratégias de leitura e escrita. Será que a escola consegue criar espaços para as práticas de letramento digital dos alunos? Os professores precisam aprender a gerenciar as tecnologias da informação e comunicação. Ensinar com e para o uso crítico das tecnologias é função primordial da escola no processo de inclusão digital. Nesse sentido, não basta apenas usar aleatoriamente as tecnologias, sem planejamentos ou objetivos claros, mas sim transformar as relações dos sujeitos com os suportes tecnológicos. O presente trabalho discute a inserção das tecnologias na escola e apresenta contribuições para repensar o planejamento didático, considerando a diversidade de recursos tecnológicos que os professores podem utilizar na organização de situações de aprendizagem que levem o aluno a aprimorar as práticas de letramento digital.

Computers, mobile technologies, social networks, search tools and on-line interaction are resources used by students in the dynamic world of cyberculture. The information technologies and communication are demanding readers and writers even more involved. The printed texts add to the hypertexts and electronic media that require different strategies of reading and writing. Does the school can create spaces for the digital literacy practices of students? Teachers must learn to manage information technology and communication. Teaching with and for the critical use of technology is the school's primary role in the process of digital inclusion. Just using technologies without clear goals or plans is not enough. It is important transforming the relationship of subjects with technologies. This paper discusses the integration of technology in schools and presents contributions to rethink the pedagogical planning, considering many technological resources that teachers can use in the organization of learning situations that allow students to improve digital literacy practices.
