In view of this reductionism themes and theoretical frameworks of the traditional philosophy of mind should be reconsidered. By way of reconstructed concepts - like self-awareness, the unconscious and person - the philosophy of psychology should correct the narrowing of its theoretical scope and develop a non-reductionist model for a comprehensive understanding of the consciousness of the human life-form.... view less
