Von der "Schwesternschülerin" zur Studentin: Bildungs- und Berufserfahrungen und neue Perspektiven in der Pflege

Abstract

"Auch in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland beginnt sich seit einigen Jahren die Pflege zu akademisieren. Anhand der bildungs- und berufsbiograhischen Verläufe und den Erfahrungen von ausgebildeten Pflegenden, die als erste Studiengeneration an der Universität Bremen mit einem pflegewissenschaftlichen Lehramtsstudiengang beginnen konnten, beleuchtet der Artikel die (bisherige) Arbeits- und Bildungssituation im Pflegesektor. Dabei wird deutlich, daß die Sonderstellung der Pflegeausbildungen und der pflegespezifischen Fort- und Weiterbildungen mit eklatanten strukturellen, inhaltlichen, sozialen und nicht zuletzt mit berufsbiographischen Nachteilen verbunden sind." "For a few years now, nursing in the Federal Republic of Germany is turning into a graduate profession. This article illuminates the previous situation of work and education in the nursing sector, taking account of educational and professional biographic processes and experiences of trained nurses at the University of Bremen. These students are the first cohort at the University which started the study programme of teaching profession for nursing science. It comes into the picture then that the special status of nursing education and the specifics of nursing in further education and training entails striking disadvantages in structure, content and social aspects, especially professional biographic aspects."
