"Privatisation is one of the priority issues in the reform of the Public Employment Service. Not only in Germany, particularly following the Hartz-Commission, but also in other countries the enhancement of private elements in the delivery of public employment services has received increasing attention. Secondly, making use of the theoretical framework of New Institutional Economics, it analyses the most important strengths and weaknesses of the new regime." (author's abstract)... view less
