"Das Bundesverfassungsgericht hat entschieden, dass die Erhebung einheitlicher Beitragssätze in der Gesetzlichen Pflegeversicherung für Personen mit und ohne Kinder gegen den Gleichheitsgrundsatz der Verfassung verstoße. In dieser Arbeit prüfen wir unterschiedliche Argumente dafür, Beitragssätze in den verschiedenen Bereichen der Sozialversicherung von der Kinderzahl des Beitragszahlers abhängig zu machen und kommen zu dem Ergebnis, dass ein solcher Vorschlag unter wohlfahrtstheoretischer Perspektive nicht zu überzeugen vermag."
