In the article many-sided activity of staff of the Leningrad militia in the years of war is analyzed (on the basis of archival materials of St. Petersburg and Department of special funds and rehabilitation of Information center of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in SPb and Leningrad Region, Museum of history of militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in SPb and Leningrad Region and the press).
