The present text is given by the concern shared by philosophy and by its practical and therapeutic character, by being a product of research. It is divided into several sections that mark the way to try to answer the question: who is the consultant philosopher and what does it take to be one? In the first part, existential malaise is presented as a problem that "the man of flesh and blood" lives with and does not always understand and face.
