Los fundamentos ontológicos y epistemológicos

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag zielt auf das Herzstück qualitativer Forschung, indem gezeigt wird, dass es – aus der Perspektive einer Epistemologie des "gewussten" Subjekts – erforderlich ist, zunächst deren ontologische und dann deren epistemologische Grundlagen neu zu überdenken. Hierzu zeichne ich in einem ersten Schritt den Weg von einer Epistemologie des "bewussten" Subjekts hin zu einer Epistemologie des "gewussten" Subjekts nach, die ich als neuen (und nicht exklusiven) Weg des Wissens vorschlage. Danach beschreibe ich die primären und sekundären Charakteristika qualitativer Forschung und skizziere die Notwendigkeit eines ontologischen Bruches. Am Ende werden kognitive Interaktion und kooperative Wissenskonstruktion als grundlegende Elemente im Rahmen einer qualitativen Forschung skizziert, die auf einer Epistemologie des "gewussten" Subjekts gründet.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the most relevant features of qualitative research in order to show how, from the epistemology of the known subject perspective I propose, it is necessary to review first the ontological and then the epistemological grounds of this type of inquiry. I begin by following the path that leads from the epistemology of the knowing subject to the epistemology of the known subject, proposed as a new and non exclusive way of knowing. I then go on to describe the primary and secondary characteristics of qualitative research, highlighting the need for an ontological rupture. Finally, cognitive interaction and cooperative knowledge construction are considered as two fundamental features in the process of qualitative research grounded on the epistemology of the known subject.

El propósito de esta presentación es mostrar las características más relevantes de la investigación cualitativa a fin de señalar como, a partir de la Epistemología del Sujeto Conocido que propongo, es menester revisar los fundamentos primero ontológicos y, después, epistemológicos y metodológicos de ese tipo de indagación. Comienzo indicando el recorrido que me conduce desde la Epistemología del Sujeto Cognoscente a la Epistemología del Sujeto Conocido a la que postulo como una nueva y no excluyente forma de conocer. Seguidamente, doy cuenta de las características primarias y secundarias de la investigación cualitativa formulando la necesidad de una ruptura ontológica. Por último, considero a la interacción cognitiva y a la construcción cooperativa del conocimiento como dos rasgos primordiales del proceso de investigación cualitativa fundado en la Epistemología del Sujeto Conocido.
