This research aimed to study the phenomenon of intimate partner violence because it has become a social problem, which affects the biopsychosocial well-being of those who experience it. In this case, women belonging to the collective "Red de Mujeres de Ibagué, Tolima," Colombia. La presente investigación quiso estudiar el fenómeno de la violencia de pareja, debido a que éste se ha convertido en una problemática social que afecta el bienestar biopsicosocial de quienes la experimentan, en este caso, las mujeres pertenecientes al colectivo "Red de mujeres de Ibagué-Tolima" (Colombia). Se encontró que las mujeres han estado inmersas en un contexto sociocultural e histórico donde prevalece el conflicto, la violencia y la dominación masculina, lo que se refleja desde el establecimiento de las primeras relaciones interpersonales en edades tempranas que, a lo largo de sus vidas, se fueron reproduciendo hasta el punto de naturalizar prácticas sociales relacionadas con la violencia de género.... view less
