This study aims to explore sustainable operations management through a detailed analysis of Starbucks in Spain as a case study. The methodology used is content analysis, which examines scholarly articles, reports, and publications related to corporate sustainability, business model innovation, and supply chain management. This approach explains the field's key concepts and emergent themes in depth. However, it is necessary to consider the limitations of the study. Reliance on existing research may restrict coverage of recent developments, and the selection of sources may introduce potential bias. As the field is continually evolving, newer studies may offer additional perspectives. The case and study provide recommendations for future research, such as encouraging empirical studies to validate theoretical frameworks, exploring contextual factors influencing sustainable practices, and investigating the impact of emerging technologies on sustainable operations. Cross-disciplinary collaborations are also encouraged to foster a holistic knowledge of the challenges and possibilities in sustainable business practices. In conclusion, this study offers valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in sustainable operations management. As the discourse on sustainable business practices evolves, this case provides a strong foundation for future investigations to contribute to meaningful advancements in the field.... weniger
