Abstract	Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit zwei Gruppen subethnischer chinesischer Kinder, die zum einen aus dem chinesischen Mutterland, zum anderen aus Hongkong stammend nach Nordirland migrierten. Untersucht werden kulturelle Narrative über das Herkunftsland und über die nordirische Aufnahmegesellschaft. Dabei geht es nicht nur um die Narrative selbst, sondern auch um deren jeweilige soziale, kulturelle und politische Entstehungskontexte. Zur Analyse der Narrative wird theoretisch auf BOURDIEUs Habitus-Konzept zugegriffen; methodologisch kommen Tiefeninterviews und zusätzlich Beobachtungen zum Einsatz mit dem Ziel, einen objektiveren und umfassenderen Zugang zum Verstehen dieser kulturellen Narrative zu eröffnen. This paper focuses on two groups of sub-ethnic Chinese children respectively migrating from Mainland China and Hong Kong to Northern Ireland. It examines their cultural narratives surrounding topics of their country of origin, their adopted society in Northern Ireland. The paper analyses not only the surface narratives themselves, but also the social, cultural and political context in which such dispositional narratives were nourished and made possible. Theoretically, the author uses BOURDIEU's concept of "habitus" as the analytical tool to interpret and explain such narrative dispositions. Methodologically, the author uses in-depth interviewing and observations to achieve a more objective and overall understanding of their cultural narratives. Este trabajo se centra en dos subgrupos étnicos de niños chinos que han inmigrado respectivamente desde el interior de China y desde Hong Kong a Irlanda del Norte. Se revisan sus relatos culturales en torno a los temas de su país de origen y su sociedad de adoptción en Irlanda del Norte. El trabajo analiza no solamente la superficie de los relatos, sino también el contexto social, cultural y político del que tales relatos se alimentaron y fueron posibles. El autor usa teóricamente el concepto de "Habitus" de BOURDIEU como herramienta analítica para interpretar y explicar estas disposiciones narrativas. Metodológicamente, el autor usa entrevistas en profundidad y observaciones para lograr una comprensión objetiva de conjunto en tornor a esos relatos culturales.
