%X Volunteering is an important form of social participation, and significant for social integration into society. However, not all population groups have engaged in volunteering in equal proportions, even before the COVID-19 pandemic. This chapter examines how access to volunteering changed for individual population groups in the second half of life during the Covid-19 pandemic, and whether the pandemic contributed to an increase in inequality in volunteering.
