Abstract Este texto se propõe a pensar a condição da formação humana a partir das idéias de formação cultural (Bildung) e de semiformação (Halbbildung) em Theodor W. Adorno, procurando-se mostrar a sua produtividade na análise da problemática educacional contemporânea.

This text has the proposal of considering the condition of human formation starting from the Theodor W. Adorno's ideas of cultural formation (Bildung) and of semi-formation (Halbbildung). It aims to demonstrate the author's productivity referring to the analysis of contemporary educational problem.
