Abstract
Seit über sechzig Jahren haben Mädchen bessere Schulnoten als Jungen. Seit etwa zwanzig Jahren erwerben Mädchen deutlich häufiger das Abitur als Jungen. Schulischer Erfolg wird maßgeblich von gesellschaftlichen Bildern geprägt.
