Kritischer Kulturassimilator Deutschland für chinesische Teilnehmende

Abstract

Der vorliegende Artikel stellt einen Kulturassimilator für chinesische Teilnehmende mit Deutschland als Zielland vor. In sieben Fallbeispielen werden authentische Situationen aus dem chinesisch-deutschen Alltag vorgestellt, die von den Teilnehmenden mithilfe von jeweils vier Antwortmöglichkeiten zu interpretieren sind. Die Antworten werden sodann einzeln erläutert. Anders als in der üblichen Ratgeberliteratur schließt hieran noch eine kritische Betrachtung der Beispiele und der Erklärungen an. Der Hintergrund der jeweiligen Situation wird aus chinesischer und deutscher Perspektive interkulturell beleuchtet und die Anwendbarkeit der Trainingsform für das interkulturelle Lernen diskutiert. Die Untersuchung trägt dem wachsenden Bedarf an interkultureller Orientierung für chinesische Studierende in Deutschland Rechnung. Sie berücksichtigt auch den Wandel (alltags-)kultureller Gewohnheiten sowie die häufig vernachlässigten Phänomene der Hyperkorrektur durch interkulturelles Training.

This article introduces a culture assimilator for Chinese participants whose country of destination is Germany. Authentic situations of Chinese-German everyday life are presented in seven case examples, which are to be interpreted by the participants with the help of four possible answers. In the next step, the answers are explained in detail. Unlike in typical self-help literature, the examples and explanations are then followed by a critical discussion. The background of each situation is analyzed interculturally from both Chinese and German perspectives and the applicability of this training method for intercultural learning is assessed. The present study meets the growing demand for the intercultural orientation of Chinese students in Germany, taking into account the changing (everyday) cultural habits and the frequently ignored phenomena of hypercorrection through intercultural training.
