In diesem Artikel soll auf der Basis einer ausführlichen Literaturrecherche analysiert werden, inwieweit es angemessen wäre, von einem lateinamerikanischen Managementstil zu sprechen. Wenngleich es kaum Studien gibt, die Managementpraktiken in den einzelnen Ländern Lateinamerikas vergleichend analysieren, so finden sich in der Literatur Ähnlichkeiten in der Beschreibung von Unstimmigkeiten zwischen in Lateinamerika verbreiteten Managementpraktiken und der Schlüssigkeit der Modelle, die transnationale Unternehmen anwenden. This article discusses the existence of a Latin American management model, performing a literature review to illustrate the state of this discussion in the Latin American context. Despite the lack of empirical studies analysing comparative management practices in each of the countries of the study area, the literature showed great similarities in the description of interference between Latin American management style and the logic of models developed by transnational corporations.
