Abstract	'Im vorliegenden Bericht wird die Wirtschaft der GUS in den neunziger Jahren dargestellt. Schwerpunkt sind die Entwicklungen in den einzelnen Staaten; Fragen der GUS-Integration werden nur gestreift. In einem einleitenden Abschnitt wird ein Überblick über die wirtschaftlichen Verhältnisse in der GUS insgesamt gegeben. Auch eine statistische Abwägung der Einflüsse verschiedener Faktoren auf die Entwicklung des Bruttoinlandsprodukts wird versucht. Daraufhin wird auf die Situation in den einzelnen Staaten gesondert eingegangen, wobei länderspezifische Problematiken sowie Einflüsse der politischen Situation auf die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung im Vordergrund der Betrachtung stehen.' (Autorenreferat) 'The following report looks at the CIS economy in the 1990s. It focuses chiefly on economic developments in the individual states, touching only briefly on issues of CIS integration. The introductory section provides an overview of economic relations in the CIS as a whole. It also attempts to carry out a statistical analysis of how various factors have affected the gross domestic product. Subsequently each country is considered separately, with particular attention being paid to its specific problems and to the impact the political situation has had on economic developments.'
