'Der vorliegende Bericht untersucht die sechs größten rechtsextremistischen Organisationen der Russischen Förderation: die 'National-patriotische Front 'Pamjat'' ('Gedächtnis') unter Dmitrij Wassiljew, die 'Liberal-demokratische Partei Rußlands' (LDPR) unter Wladimir Schirinowskij, die 'National-republikanische Partei Rußlands' (NRPR) unter Nikolaj Lyssenko, die 'Russische nationale Einheit' (deutsche Abkürzung RNE) unter Alexandr Barkaschow, die 'Russische Nationalversammlung' (deutsche Abkürzung RNV, abweichende russische Abkürzung RNS) unter Alexander Sterligow und die 'Front der nationalen Rettung' (deutsche Abkürzung FNR, abweichende russische Abkürzung FNS) unter Ilja Konstantinow. Zur Definition von Rechtsextremismus wurde die Begriffsbestimmung der Politikwissenschaft herangezogen: Rechtsextremistisch sind Bestrebungen, die gegen die Grundrechte und Verfassungsnormen des parlamentarisch-demokratischen Konfliktaustrags gerichtet sind und die zur Durchsetzung ihrer nationalistischen Positionen bereit sind, Gewalt anzuwenden.' 'This report examines the six largest right-wing extremist organisations in the Russian Federation: the National-Patriotic Front 'Pamyat' ('Memory') under Dmitrii Vassilev, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) under Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the National Republican Party of Russia (NRPR) under Nikolai Lyssenko, the Russian National Unity (RNU) under Alexandr Barkashov, the Russian National Assembly (RNA) under Alexandr Sterligow and the National Salvation Front (NSF) under Ilya Konstantinov. In discussing right-wing extremism the report uses the definition of the term employed by political science movements are considered to be right-wing extremist if they contravene the basic rights and constitutional norms for settling conflicts within a parlamentary democracy and if they are prepared to use violence in order to assert their nationalist positions.'
