%X At policy-level, the fight against discriminations emerged in France in the late 1990s. The role of the state and more specifically the central administration’s integration policy were essential to create an action device dedicated to this new political orientation. This implication influenced the institution itself, the used devices, its practice and its way to proceed. This led to a new way of governance.
