"Der Artikel problematisiert Forschungsansätze und Entwicklungslinien innerhalb der Gewaltforschung zum Gegenstand Gewalt gegen Pflegebedürftige in der häuslichen Pflege. Er vertritt einen gesellschaftskritischen Standpunkt in Bezug auf das Verhältnis von Gewalt in der häuslichen Pflege und dem Geschlecht der Täterinnen. Gefordert werden mehr Bildung für Betroffene und eine Pluralisierung in der Gewaltforschung über ältere. Menschen, sodass zum Beispiel Gewalt in der Altersehe mit einbezogen wird."
