Abstract Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung der Sozialpädagogik zwischen Ausbildung und Beruf. Er beschreibt Probleme, die diese Disziplin damit hat, sich als eigenständige Wissenschaft zu etablieren, und zeigt bestehende Defizite auf, die den Aufbau einer "universitären Sozialpädagogik" erschweren. Mit den Stichworten "Verberuflichung", "Verfachlichung" und "Professionalisierung" thematisiert und problematisiert er die Entwicklung der Sozialpädagogik als Beruf. (JA2)

The author occupies himself with the development of social work between training and profession. He describes problems of this discipline to establish itself as an independent science and shows present deficits that aggravate the development of a 'universitary social work'. Around the key word 'professionalisation' he builds his documentation of social work as a profession.
