Abstract	Das Arbeitspapier stellt fraktionale integrierte Prozesse dar, welche die wesentlichen Modelle sind, um Langzeit-Gedächtnis-Phänomene zu beschreiben (Abschnitt 1). Abschnitt 2 definiert kurz das Konzept der fraktionalen Integration, zeigt dessen Haupteigenschaften und gibt einen Überblick über die Schätzverfahren. Eine Untersuchung ihrer Erweiterungen mit dem Ziel, die zyklische Langzeit-Entwicklung zu modellieren, wird in Abschnitt 3 vorgestellt. Abschnitt 4 bekräftigt die Anwendung von sozioökonomischen Zeitreihen für Frankreich und Deutschland im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. (ICIÜbers) 'This paper presents the fractional integrated processes which are the main models used to describe long memory phenomena (section 1). Section 2 defines briefly the concept of fractional integration, shows its main properties and provides an overview of the estimation techniques. A survey of their extensions in order to model the cyclical long term movement is provided in section 3. Section 4 consists of an application to socio-economic time series for France and Germany in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.' (author's abstract)
