Further Details
(Autorenreferat)

"The mainstream of the German public sphere criticized George W. Bush for his primitive political style and polarizing rhetoric. The ambivalence in Bush's political representation was based, above all, in conveying radical political content through a marked naïve mode of expression. A detailed analysis of Bush's performance in the German daily newspapers Süddeutsche Zeitung and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung shows that this ambivalent political style influenced the German media reports more as assumed in retrospect."
