Sozialdemokratinnen im Parlamentarischen Rat

Abstract

Dentro del proyecto de investigación "Mujeres social demócratas en el Consejo Parlamentario y Cámara Baja alemana 1948/1949-1969", se llevaron a cabo 38 biografías de todas las mujeres del Consejo Parlamentario (1948-1949) y los primeros cinco períodos legislativos (1949-1969) de la Cámara Baja alemana. Este artículo es acerca de Frieda NADIG y Dr. Elisabeth SELBERT. En primer lugar, se explicará la metodología y las fuentes del material de base. Posteriormente, se presentan las biografías de los dos miembros femeninos del Parlamento social demócrata a partir de que fueron miembros del Consejo Parlamentario. Se debatirá el periodo nacional socialista ya que constituye la base para el trabajo posterior acerca del trabajo de ambas. En tercer lugar, su lucha política para la introducción de la frase: "hombres y mujeres tienen los mismos derechos" en la Constitución de la República Alemana. Por último, mediante la revisión constante de la labor de diversos organismos políticos, se pondrá en contexto histórico la importancia de las instituciones políticas que influyeron en sus vidas.

Within the scope of the research project "Female Social Democrats on the Parliamentary Council and the German Bundestag 1948/49-1969," 38 biographies from all the women of the Parliamentary Council (1948/49) and the first five legislative periods (1949-1969) of the German Bundestag were conducted. This paper is about its members Frieda NADIG and Dr. Elisabeth SELBERT. First the methodology and the body of source material will be elucidated. Thereafter, the biographies of the two female members of Social Democrats in the parliament will be introduced up to the point when they were both members of the parliamentary council. The National Socialist period will be discussed within this context since it forms the backdrop for the later political work of both politicians. Thirdly, their common political fight for the inclusion of the sentence: "males and females have equal rights" into the constitution of the German Republic will be presented. Finally, through reviewing the continuing work in various political bodies, the significance of the political institutions that influenced and shaped their lives will be put into historical context.

Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts "Sozialdemokratinnen im Parlamentarischen Rat und im Deutschen Bundestag 1948/49 – 1969" wurden 38 Biografien von allen sozialdemokratischen Frauen im Parlamentarischen Rat (1948/49) und in den Bundestagen der ersten bis fünften Wahlperiode (1949-1969) erstellt. In diesem Beitrag geht es um die Biografien von zwei dieser Mitglieder, Frieda NADIG und Dr. Elisabeth SELBERT. Zunächst werden das methodische Vorgehen und die Quellenlage erläutert. Anschließend werden die Biografien der beiden SPD-Parlamentarierinnen bis zu der Zeit ihres Zusammentreffens im Parlamentarischen Rat vorgestellt. Dabei soll auch die NS-Zeit angesprochen werden, die für die parlamentarische Arbeit beider Politikerinnen einen wichtigen Hintergrund darstellte. In einem dritten Schritt folgt die Darstellung ihres gemeinsamen politischen Kampfes um die Einschreibung des Satzes "Männer und Frauen sind gleichberechtigt" in das Grundgesetz der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Durch einen Ausblick auf die Weiterarbeit in verschiedenen politischen Gremien soll die Relevanz der Institutionen, die den Lebenslauf der beiden Politikerinnen gestalteten und das individuelle Leben konstruierten und repräsentierten, in der historischen Situation erfasst werden.
