| Abstract | "Der Begriff Public Health bezeichnet die Wissenschaft und die Praxis der Primärprävention, also einen spezifischen Bereich der Gesundheitswissenschaften, sowie ein neu entstehendes Versorgungssystem neben der Kuration, der Rehabilitation und der Pflege. Diese neuen Strukturen konsolidieren sich schrittweise. Der vorliegende Aufsatz plädiert dafür, Public Health als ein werdendes Politikfeld wahrzunehmen, dessen Aufbau systematisch voranzutreiben ist." (Autorenreferat) "As the theory and practice of primary prevention, public health is a defined field of health science and an emerging health care delivery system alongside curative medicine, rehabilitation and long-term care. As these new structures gradually take shape public health needs to be recognized as an up-and-coming policy field and developed systematically." (author's abstract) |
