Abstract "Aus schulpädagogischer Sicht muß das Internet zunehmend nicht nur als Vermittlungsmedium betrachtet werden, sondern auch als neue berufliche Realität, auf die Schule vorbereiten muß. Ergebnisse einer arbeitssoziologischen Untersuchung des Berufs Information-Broking zeigen, daß ein erfolgreiches Navigieren im Internet ähnliche Kompetenzen erfordert, wie sie in komplexen und hochautomatisierten Produktionsprozessen benötigt werden. Dazu gehören Aspekte wie assoziatives Denken, Imaginationsfähigkeit oder Intuition." (Autorenreferat)
