Abstract 'Die westdeutschen Teilstudien des Projektes 'Lebensverläufe und gesellschaftlicher Wandel' können ab sofort über das Zentralarchiv bezogen werden. Der Datensatz enthält von 5591 Männern und Frauen der Geburtsjahrgänge 1919-1921, 1929-1931, 1939-1941, 1949-1951, 1954-1956 und 1959-1961 detaillierte Lebensverlaufsinformationen. Diese Längsschnittsdaten erlauben die Untersuchung zahlreicher Fragestellungen aus den Bereichen der Bildungs- und Mobilitätsforschung, der Sozialisationsforschung, der Familiensoziologie sowie der Migrationsforschung.'(Autorenreferat)

'The studies of West German Life History which are part of the larger research project 'Life Course and Social Change,' can now be acquired at the Zentralarchiv. The data file contains detailed life course information of 5.591 men and women of the birth cohorts 1919-1921, 1929-1931, 1939-1941, 1949-1951, 1954-1956, and 1959-1961. These longitudinal data allow analyzing of many research problems in educational and mobility research, socialization research, family sociology, and migration research.' (author's abstract)|
