Abstract !Ausgehend von der Darstellung des Forschungsstandes der noch recht jungen deutschen Reichtumsforschung wird eine Begriffsabgrenzung von „Reichtum“ und „Vermögen“ durchgeführt und Charakteristiken der vermögenden Klasse benannt. Anhand empirischen Datenmaterials zum Stiftungskonsum durch jene Klasse zeigt sich, dass die vermögende Klasse in Deutschland seit einigen Jahren auf dem Vormarsch ist." [Autorenreferat]
