Abstract Die Prognosen für die Automobilbranche sind nicht langfristig genug ausgerichtet. Gebraucht wird eine europäische Beobachtungsstelle zum Strukturwandel, die längerfristige Tendenzen im gesellschaftlichen Kontext erfasst. Die großen Herausforderungen, etwa durch die Elektromobilität, erfordern ein neues Ausbildungs- und Weiterbildungssystem.
