Abstract	Esta resenha se refere à obra de Casemiro dos Reis Filho, resultado de sua pesquisa de doutorado em Educação pela PUC/SP, que consiste num estudo crítico sobre o ensino público paulista nos níveis primário, secundário e superior durante a implantação da Reforma Republicana do Ensino, ocorrida entre os anos de 1890 e 1896. This it is specified refers to the work of Casemiro dos Reis Filho, result of its doctorate research in education for PUC/SP, that consists of a critical study on the teaching public from São Paulo in the primary, secondary levels and superior during the implantation of the Republican reform of the teaching, happened among the years of 1890 and 1896.
