Mídia, educação e cidadania: considerações sobre a impotância da alfabetização tecnológica audio-visual na sociedade da informação

Abstract

O presente artigo, a partir de três concepções sobre o papel da escola na sociedade: funcionalista, reprodutivista e dialética, das exigências sociais da Sociedade da Informação e dos temas que constantemente emergem das mídias de massa. Apresenta um olhar educacional sobre a importância da alfabetização audiovisual crítica - na escola - para a formação do cidadão globalizado.

The present article, starting from three conceptions about paper of the school in the society: functionalist, reproductive and dialectics, of the social demands of the Information Society and of the themes that constantly emerge of the mass medias. It presents an criticize/ constructive glance on the importance of the critical audiovisual literacy - in the school - for the formation of the global citizen.
