Abstract O artigo aborda a proposta educativa para a prevenção da AIDS em locais de trabalho editada em 1998 pela Coordenação Nacional de DST/AIDS / Ministério da Saúde. Num primeiro momento, traz a descrição sintética das principais idéias contidas no documento. Em seguida, apresenta as considerações dos autores a essa proposta a partir de análises críticas.

The article describes the educational approach to AIDS prevention in the workplaces edited in 1998 by the "National Coordination of Sexually Transmissible Diseases/ AIDS" of the Ministry of Health, Brazil. Initially, it brings the synthetic description of the main ideas contained in the document. Then, it presents the author’s considerations to this approach by critical analysis.
